General characteristics. Structure:

Active ingredients: Hexetidinum, sincaline salicylate, chlorbutanol гемигидрат;
100 ml of drug contain Hexetidinum in terms of 100% substance of 0,1 g, salicylate sincaline in terms of 100% substance of 0,5 g, chlorbutanol of a gemigidrat in terms of 100% substance of 0,25 g; excipients: sodium saccharin, polysorbate 20, propionic acid, ethanol of 96%, oil lemon, oil anisic, menthol, peppermint oil, eucalyptole, methyl salicylate, the water purified.

Pharmacological properties:

Properties of drug are caused by effect of three of its active ingredients – Hexetidinum, sincaline of salicylate, chlorbutanol.
Antibacterial and antifungal action is caused by Hexetidinum which shows antibacterial activity concerning gram-positive and gram-negative microorganisms, both aerobes, and anaerobe bacterias. Concerning aerobic microorganisms it renders, generally bacteriostatic influence and weak - bactericidal. Hexetidinum renders the expressed bactericidal effect on anaerobic microorganisms. The mechanism of action of Hexetidinum is based on competitive substitution of thiamin: the structure of Hexetidinum is similar to structure of the thiamin necessary for growth of microorganisms.
Antiinflammatory action is caused by sincaline salicylate which concerns to group of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs and renders analgesic, febrifugal and antiinflammatory effect.
The anesthetizing activity is caused by also local anesthetic chlorbutanol which is applied in otolaryngology (drops in a nose, rinsings) and in stomatology (applications and irrigations), generally as an anesthetic.
Active agents are fixed on a mucous membrane of an oral cavity from where they are gradually released.

Indications to use:

Topical treatment of diseases and inflammatory processes of an oral cavity and throat at adults and children is more senior than 2,5 years:
ulites, stomatitises; parodontita;
afta and pain at a teething;
postoperative care of an oral cavity;
quinsies, acute and adenoid diseases, pharyngitises, laryngitis.

Route of administration and doses:

Apply as local means to irrigation of an oral cavity.
Adult: 1 spraying of 4-6 times a day.
To children aged from 2,5 up to 15 years: 1 spraying 2–3 times a day.
Course of treatment — no more than 5 days.

Features of use:

Prolonged use as it can lead to disturbance of microbic balance in an oral cavity and a throat is not recommended.

During pregnancy and feeding by a breast drug is used only on doctor's orders and only if the advantage of use of drug for mother exceeds risk for the fruit/child.

Apply at children aged 2,5 years are more senior. Safety of use of drug for children is younger than 2,5 years is not investigated.

Side effects:

Allergic reactions: irritation, skin reactions. In this case treatment needs to be stopped.

Interaction with other medicines:

Not to apply together with the drugs containing antiseptic agents.

Contraindications:

Children's age up to 2,5 years. The revealed allergy to drug components.

Overdose:

Messages on overdose of drug did not arrive.

Storage conditions:

To store in original packaging at a temperature not above 25 °C. Not to freeze. To store in the place, unavailable to children.

Period of storage - 3 years.
