General characteristics. Structure:

Active ingredient: substance — Megluminum акридонацетат in terms of akridonuksusny acid - 50,0 mg, received on the following copy-book: akridonuksusny acid - 50,0 mg, N-metilglyukamin (Megluminum) - 38,5 mg; excipients: a benzalkoniya chloride - 0,1 mg, 1,2 propylene glycol - to 1,0 ml. Description: transparent liquid of yellow color with a slight specific smell. Pharmakoterapevtichesky group: immunoexcitant.

Pharmacological properties:

ЦИКЛОФЕРОН® is the low-molecular inductor of interferon that defines a wide range of its biological activity (antiviral, immunomodulatory, antiinflammatory). ЦИКЛОФЕРОН® it is effective concerning a virus of herpes and other activators. Possesses direct antiviral action, suppressing a virus reproduction on early terms (1-5 days) of infectious process. The main clinical effect of action of linimentum ЦИКЛОФЕРОН® is connected with induction of early α-interferon.......... Drug normalizes a tsitokinovy imbalance of opposite forms of an immune response. Local pharmakoterapevtichesky effect of the drug TSIKLOFERON® is caused by stimulation of a local immune response in an adenoid tissue of a mucous membrane. Efficiency of linimentum ЦИКЛОФЕРОН® at treatment of chronic parodontit is shown in suppression of growth of pathogenic microorganisms and normalization of level of secretory immunoglobulin A in liquid of dentogingival pockets that provides high-quality sanitation of an oral cavity, promoting reduction of an inflammation and bleeding of gums.

Indications to use:

At adults in complex therapy: - herpes infection of skin and mucous membranes; - nonspecific vaginit and vaginoses; - chronic parodontit.

Route of administration and doses:

Locally: At a herpes infection linimentum is applied with a thin layer on an affected area by 1-2 times a day within five days. At genital herpes - ingravaginalny instillations once a day on 5 ml within 10-15 days daily. At therapy of a nonspecific vaginitis and a bacterial vaginosis: the drug is administered intravaginalno on 5-10 ml daily within 10-15 days by 1-2 times a day. Use of the tampons impregnated with linimentum is possible. At chronic forms of diseases drug is well combined with other medicines (vaginal tablets, suppositories). For use intravaginalno: to open a tuba, to puncture a membrane by means of the syringe (volume of 5 ml) with a one-time needle, to gather linimentum, to remove and throw out a needle. In a prone position to enter the filled syringe into a vagina and by means of the piston to squeeze out linimentum. In the presence in packaging of the vaginal applicator to puncture a tuba membrane, to install the applicator on an opening. To squeeze out linimentum in an applicator cavity until all piston is pushed out. To remove the filled applicator from a tuba opening, to enter into a vagina and by means of the piston to squeeze out linimentum. For prevention of free evacuation of drug the entrance to a vagina is tamponed by a small sterile cotton plug for 2-3 hours. In case of need it is possible to repeat a course in 14 days. At treatment of a chronic periodontal disease before use of linimentum it is desirable to wash out parodontalny pockets an antiseptic agent, then to apply with a cotton plug drug of 1,5 ml on a gingiva by method of application (not to rub) 1-2 times a day with an interval of 10-12 hours. Duration of therapy is 12-14 days. In case of need to repeat a course in 14 days.

Features of use:

Drug has bitter taste. It is not recommended to rub intensively drug in a gingiva. Not to allow hit of drug on a mucous membrane of eyes. In case of hit - to wash out eyes water. Does not exert impact on ability to manage vehicles. In the absence of medical effect it is necessary to see a doctor.

Side effects:

Allergic reactions. Perhaps short-term burning, insignificant local hyperemia. Side effects are poorly expressed and do not demand drug withdrawal.

Interaction with other medicines:

Linimentum ЦИКЛОФЕРОН® is compatible to all medicines which are traditionally applied at treatment of the specified diseases (chemotherapeutic drugs, etc.). At chronic forms of diseases drug is well combined with other medicines (vaginal tablets and suppositories). Strengthens action of antibiotics, antiseptic agents and antifungal drugs.

Contraindications:

Pregnancy, the breastfeeding period, age up to 18 years, hypersensitivity to drug components. Use at pregnancy and during breastfeeding is contraindicated use of drug at pregnancy and during breastfeeding.

Overdose:

Data on overdose of drug are absent.

Storage conditions:

In the place protected from light at a temperature of 15-25 °C. To store in the place, unavailable to children. Period of validity 2 years. Drug should not be used after the period of validity specified on packaging.

Packaging:

Linimentum of 5% on 5 ml in insulin bottles, 5 bottles in a unilateral blister strip packaging, 1 blister strip packaging together with the application instruction in a pack cardboard. On 5 ml or 30 ml in an aluminum tuba. A tuba together with the application instruction in a pack cardboard. With a tuba of 30 ml put 5 applicators in a pack vaginal, or pack without applicators.
