Salicylic and zinc paste

General characteristics. Structure:

Contains salicylic acid, a zinc oxide, potato starch and vaseline medical.

Pharmacological properties:

Possesses the disinfecting, drying and peeling action. The salicylic acid which is a part of paste can get through skin into blood.

Indications to use:

Dermatitis, eczema, psoriasis.

Route of administration and doses:

Paste is applied on skin by 1-2 times a day.

Contraindications:

Pregnancy, disturbance of secretory function of kidneys, the lowered coagulability of blood, hemorrhagic diathesis, anemia, peptic ulcer of a stomach and 12-perstny gut. It is not recommended to apply paste on strongly becoming wet sites of skin, and also at its excess dryness.
