General characteristics. Structure:

Active ingredient: 5 g of Ichthyolum in 25 g of ointment.

Excipients: T-2 emulsifier, vaseline.

Pharmacological properties:

Pharmacodynamics. Anti-inflammatory drug, has mestnoobezbolivayushchy antiseptic, keratoplastichesky action. At direct action on skin causes the weak irritation of sensitive nerve terminations which is replaced by decrease in their sensitivity that brings to emergence of the reflexes changing a trophicity of fabrics.

Causes a denaturation of proteinaceous molecules. Favorably influences area of an inflammation of skin and hypodermics (especially at a combination to alcohol): regulates a vascular tone, recovers blood circulation, improves a metabolism.

Indications to use:

Skin infections, burn, erysipelatous inflammation, eczema, furunculosis, neuralgia, arthritis.

Route of administration and doses:

Outwardly, apply on an affected area, rubbing ointment 1-2 times put.

Side effects:

Allergic reactions.

Interaction with other medicines:

Medicine it is incompatible in solutions with iodide salts, alkaloids, salts of heavy metals.

Hypersensitivity.

Storage conditions:
