Anauran
Application instruction:
Anauran – the combined medicine of antibacterial, antimicrobic and mestnoanesteziruyushchy action for topical administration in otorhinolaryngological practice.
Form of release and structure
Anauran is issued in the form of ear drops (on 25 ml in bottles droppers of dark glass, in a cardboard pack one bottle).
Structure of 1 ml of drops:
- active ingredients: lidocaine a hydrochloride – 40 mg, Neomycinum (in the form of sulfate Neomycinum) – 5 mg (3,75 thousand ME), polymyxin B sulfate – 10 thousand ME;
- auxiliary components: глицерол, a benzalkoniya chloride, the water purified propylene glycol.
Indications to use
- outside otitis (chronic and acute);
- chronic form of average otitis with exudate accumulation;
- average acute otitis (before perforation);
- postoperative purulent complications after windowing (the operation consisting in creation of a new opening in a bone labyrinth of an inner ear), mastoidektomiya (the operation directed to removal of granulations and pus from mastoid cavities at inflammatory processes in it), antrotomies (mastoidotomy) and tympanoplasties (the operation consisting in sanitation of a tympanic cavity and in recovery of natural provision of the stones which are here).
Contraindications
Anauran do not apply at hypersensitivity to any of medicine components.
Route of administration and dosage
Drops are intended for topical administration. They are dug in in outside acoustical pass, using for this purpose a special pipette. After Anauran's instillation it is necessary to keep within several minutes the head in the inclined situation.
To adult patients drug is dug in by 2-4 times a day on 4-5 drops, to children – 3-4 times a day on 2-3 drops. Anauran's dose and frequency rate of an instillation depend on disease severity.
Therapy duration – no more than 7 days.
Side effects
During treatment there can be local allergic reactions, namely: peeling and itch of skin of outside acoustical pass, reddening. After cancellation of drops side effects disappear independently, treatment is not required.
Systemic action is improbable as the used doses are very small. System side effects are possible only in case of prolonged treatment by drug. Because of absorption of Neomycinum there can be nephrotoxicity and ototoxicity.
Special instructions
Anauran it is necessary to use only at ear diseases. At persistent and heavy infections topical treatment is supplemented with oral administration of antibiotics.
Prolonged treatment is fraught with development of superinfection and emergence of microorganisms, resistant to Anauran.
To children up to one year drug is appointed only under control of the specialist and in urgent cases.
Medicinal interaction
At simultaneous use of Anauran with streptomycin, amikacin, Monomycinum, netilmitsiny and gentamycin strengthening of ototoksichesky action of the listed antibiotics therefore such combinations are not recommended is possible.

To store at a temperature of 15-25 °C. To protect from children.
Period of validity – 3 years.
The opened bottle needs to be used within 3 months.
