Debridat – the spasmolytic drug increasing motility and the general tone of intestines.

Form of release and structure

Debridat is issued in the following dosage forms:

Capsules (on 10 pieces in blisters, on 2 blisters in a cardboard pack);
Powder for preparation of suspension for intake: the suspension prepared from powder has a pleasant orange flavor (on 152,5 g in bottles of dark glass for preparation of 250 ml of suspension, on 1 bottle in a cardboard pack).

Active ingredient – тримебутин:

Capsules – 150 mg / 1 piece;
Suspension – 24 mg / 5 ml (1 teaspoon) or 72 mg / 15 ml (1 tablespoon).

Indications to use

Debridat use for therapy of polymorphic symptomatology of the diseases of gastroenterological type relating to a syndrome of the angry intestines (functional pathology of the digestive tract (DT) which can be shown by a meteorism, diarrhea or/and a lock, enterospasms, an abdominal cavity pains and gripes), namely:

The pains in a stomach and a basin localized in the upper, lower part of a stomach, and in other areas;
Diseases of a peritoneum, digestive organs, gullet, stomach and duodenum, liver, gall bladder, biliary tract and pancreas;
Lock;
Noninfectious gastroenteritis and not specified colitis;
Noninfectious enteritis and colitis;
Meteorism and related states;
Symptoms and symptoms of the diseases relating to the alimentary system and an abdominal cavity;
Functional diarrhea;
Other diseases of intestines and digestive organs;
Others, including not specified, pains in a stomach;
Other functional intestinal disturbances;
Diarrhea and gastroenteritis of presumably infectious etiology.

Contraindications

The only contraindication to use of drug is hypersensitivity to its components.

It is undesirable to apply Debridat in the I trimester of pregnancy and in the period of a lactation as there are no clinical data on safety of its use. By results of pilot studies of teratogenic and/or embriotoksichny influence on a fruit it is not revealed.

Route of administration and dosage

Debridat accept inside.

The adult drug is appointed in a single dose by 1 capsule or 2 tablespoons of suspension, frequency rate of reception – 3 times a day.

Children Debridat should accept in the form of suspension for intake. Depending on age appoint the following mode of dosing:

Up to 6 months: on 1/2 teaspoons 2-3 times a day;
From 6 months to 1 year: on 1 teaspoon 2 times a day;
From 1 year to 5 years: on 1 teaspoon 3 times a day;
Of 5 years: on the 2nd teaspoons 3 times a day.

Side effects

At treatment by Debridat skin reactions are in some cases possible.

Authentic data on overdose did not arrive.

Special instructions

With a diabetes mellitus it is important to patient to consider that as a part of powder for preparation of suspension for intake sugar contains.

Medicinal interaction

There is no information on Debridat's interaction with other medicines.

Terms and storage conditions

To store in the dry, dark place unavailable to children, at a temperature not above 25 °C.

Period of validity – 3 years.

Ready suspension for the internal use should be stored in the refrigerator, at a temperature from 2 to 6 °C, not longer than 3 weeks.
