Grammidin
Application instruction:
Grammidin – the antibacterial drug for treatment of LOR-diseases used locally. It is widely used in stomatology and the LOR-expert for treatment of quinsy, pharyngitis, stomatitis and other related defeats.
Release several types: Grammidin, Grammidin NEO, Grammidin with anesthetic.
Pharmacological action
Active ingredient of Grammidin – an antibiotic gramicidin (Gramicidin C). Works practically on all activators causing infectious and inflammatory diseases of an oral cavity.
According to the instruction Grammidin does not cause accustoming. The increased salivation caused by drug promotes clarification of an oral cavity from waste products of causative organisms.
Additional active ingredient of Grammidin NEO – Tsetilliridiniya chloride, helps to soften unpleasant feelings in a throat.
Grammidin with anesthetic, being the combined antibacterial drug, contains a hydrochloride in addition to a lidocaine antibiotic. At the expense of it he acts and as anesthetic.
Release form
Release in the form of tablets for a rassasyvaniye:
- Grammidin. Tablets of white, it is possible with a yellowish shade, colors. Each tablet contains 1,5 mg of Gramicidin C and excipients (calcium стеарт, sugar milk, sugar, methyl cellulose). In packaging of 10 pieces, in a cardboard pack – 2 packagings;
- Grammidin NEO. Round, biconvex tablets of white color with a text of "GR" on one party. In each tablet – 3 mg of Gramicidin C and 1 mg chloride cetylpyridinium. Excipients – magnesium stearate, silicon dioxide colloid, to potassium atsesulfa, talc, fragrance mint, sorbitol. In packaging of 6 pieces, in a cardboard pack – 2-4 packagings, in packaging of 9 pieces, in a cardboard pack – 2 packagings;
- Grammidin with anesthetic. Round, biconvex tablets with a menthol smell. Each tablet contains 1,5 mg of Gramicidin C, 10 mg of lidocaine a hydrochloride and excipients: citric acid, eucalyptus oil, aspartame, menthol, Mannitolum, hydroxypropyl cellulose Klutsel, calcium stearate. With fragrances (raspberry – tablets of white-pink color and taste of raspberry, a lemon – white-yellow color and taste of a lemon or blackcurrant – white-gray color and taste of blackcurrant) or without them – a tablet of white and cream color with impregnations.
Indications to Grammidin's use
Grammidin's use at various infectious and inflammatory diseases of an oral cavity and throat is the most effective:
- Tonsillitis;
- To quinsy;
- Ulitis;
- Acute pharyngitis;
- Periodontosis;
- Stomatitis.
At diseases which are followed by a pain syndrome Grammidin with anesthetic is shown.
There is not a lot of contraindications at Grammidin. Having only local effect, he in rare instances to cause allergic reactions to the components which are its part.
According to responses Grammidin it is necessary to apply with care during pregnancy.
In the period of a lactation it is better to refuse use of drug. To children up to 4 years drug is not appointed.
Application instruction of Grammidin
According to the instruction Grammidin and Grammidin with anesthetic appoint to adults and children (of 12 years) two tablets. Them it is necessary to rassosat one for another within 20-30 minutes after food. After use of drug it is not recommended to eat and drink within 1-2 hours. Accept 4 times a day. To children up to 12 years appoint 1-2 tablets 4 times a day. Course duration – 5-6 days.
Grammidin NEO appoint to adults and children (of 12 years) on 1 tablet 3-4 times a day, and to children from 4 to 12 years – on 1 tablet 1-2 times a day. Course duration – 7 days.
Without having special contraindications, drug is rather effective at treatment of a sore throat. According to responses Grimmidin quickly facilitates swallowing and alleviates a pharyngalgia. Also many note efficiency at treatment of children. Drug can be bought in a drugstore without recipe, a period of storage – 2 years.
