Indications to use: Capillary bleeding. Cornea burn. Short-sightedness (Myopia).


General characteristics. Structure:

Description: drops eye 1% colourless or slabookrashenny, slightly opalescent.

Active ingredient:  1 ml of a metiletilpiridinol hydrochloride (эмоксипин) 10 mg;

Excipients: sodium sulfite anhydrous, Natrium benzoicum, potassium dihydrophosphate (potassium phosphate monosubstituted), hydrophosphate sodium dodecahydrate (sodium phosphate disubstituted 12-water), methyl cellulose, water for and.




Pharmacological properties:

The antioxidant drug interfering peroxide oxidation of lipids of cellular membranes. Has angioprotektorny, antiagregantny and anti-hypoxemic activity.

Reduces permeability of capillaries and strengthens a vascular wall (angioprotektorny action). Reduces viscosity of blood and aggregation of thrombocytes (antiagregantny action). Inhibits education of free radicals (antioxidant action). Possesses membrane stabilizing action. Increases resistance of fabrics to shortage of oxygen (anti-hypoxemic action).

Has retinoprotektorny properties, protects a retina and other tissues of an eye from the damaging effect of light of high intensity. Promotes a rassasyvaniye of intraocular hemorrhages, reduces coagulability of blood, improves microcirculation of an eye. Stimulates reparative processes in a cornea (including in the early postoperative and postwound period).

 

Pharmacokinetics. Distribution

Quickly gets into bodies and fabrics where there is its deposition and metabolism. In eye tissues concentration is higher, than in blood.

Metabolism

5 metabolites presented by the dialkylated and conjugated transmutation products are revealed. Metabolites are excreted by kidneys. In significant amounts in hepatic fabric 2-ethyl-6-methyl-3-oxypyridine-phosphate is found.


Indications to use:

— hemorrhages in an anterior chamber of an eye (treatment);

— hemorrhages in a sclera at elderly people (treatment and prevention);

— inflammations and burns of a cornea (treatment and prevention);

— complications at short-sightedness (treatment);

— protection of a cornea (when carrying contact lenses).


Route of administration and doses:

The drug Emoksi-optik® is appointed the adult. Dig in in a conjunctival sac 1-2 drops 2-3

Course of treatment of 3-30 days. If necessary and good tolerance the course of treatment can be continued up to 6 months and 2-3 times a year can repeat.


Features of use:

In need of simultaneous use of other eye drops drug is dug in the last, after full absorption of the previous drops (not less, than in 10-15 min.).


Side effects:

Local reactions: burning sensation, itch, short-term hyperemia of a conjunctiva; seldom - local allergic reactions.


Interaction with other medicines:

Contraindications:

— period of a lactation (breastfeeding);

— children's and teenage age up to 18 years;

— hypersensitivity to drug components.

Overdose:

The overdose of the drug Emoksi-optik® is not established.


Storage conditions:

List B. Drug should be stored in the unavailable to children, protected from light place at a temperature not above 25 °C. A period of validity - 2 years.

After opening of a bottle drug should be used within 1 month.
