General characteristics. Structure:

Contains in 1 suppository: Active agents Extract of a belladonna (belladonna) – 0,015 g, Ichthyolum – 0,2 g; Excipients Solid fat, type A or витепсол) – enough before receiving suppository weighing from 1,17 to 1,29 g.

Pharmacological properties:

Antihemorrhoidal means for topical administration. Suppositories rectal Betiol® have antiinflammatory, soothing and antiseptic effect, remove intestines muscles spasms.

Indications to use:

Hemorrhoids, anal fissures.

Route of administration and doses:

Rektalno. 1-3 suppositories a day, but no more than 10 suppositories a day, after a cleansing enema or spontaneous purgation.

Side effects:

At hypersensitivity to components of drug and its overdose thirst, a lock, a cardiopalmus, expansion of pupils and other vision disorders are possible dryness in a mouth, and at poisoning - psychomotor excitement, spasms, an ischuria. At emergence of these signs it is necessary to stop use of drug and to see immediately a doctor.

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to drug components, closed-angle glaucoma, prostate adenoma.
