Fascioliasis


Description:


The fascioliasis (fasciolosis) — helminthic, from group of trematodoz, a disease of animals and the person, is characterized by damage of a liver and zhelchevydelitelny system.


Fascioliasis symptoms:


At the person within 2-4 weeks fever, cough, rashes on skin are observed; there is painful a liver. Is followed often by loss of appetite and abdominal pains.

Further acute displays of a disease disappear, there is a transition to a chronic phase in which dispepsichesky frustration, increase and morbidity of a liver are mainly observed.

In development of a disease there is an inflammation of functional tissue of liver (hepatitis) therefore the general metabolism is broken. The toxins emitted by parasites poison an organism. There are changes of morphological and chemical composition of blood. Cattle reduces yields of milk. The small cattle (sheep, goats) at an intensive invasion perishes.


Fascioliasis reasons:


Invasion activators: Fasciola hepatica — a hepatic fluke  and F. gigantica — a huge fluke.

Infection of the person occurs through the eaten plants on which larvae of parasites, and also with water live.

Parasites live and lay eggs in bilious channels of a liver and a gall bladder. Eggs are removed with a stake.

Eggs fastsiol large: 0,13-0,14 mm of length and 0,07-0,09 mm of width, an oval form, symmetric, golden-yellow color with a lid on one of poles.


Treatment of the Fascioliasis:


    * The person has albendazole, триклабендазол.
    * At animals — albendazole, триклабендазол, klozantet, рафоксанид, fenbendazole.
