General characteristics. Structure:

Active ingredient: 0,03 g or 0,05 g of a prostate of extract (Prostatilena *).

Excipients: dimethyl sulfoxide, macrogoal-1500.

* - Prostatilen® substance represents prostates extract with glycine addition.

Pharmacological properties:

Pharmacodynamics. Possesses organotropic action on a prostate. Reduces degree of hypostasis, leukocytic infiltration of a prostate, normalizes secretory function of epithelial cells, increases number of lecithin grains in a secret of an acinus, stimulates a muscle tone of a bladder. Reduces a thrombogenesis, has antiagregantny activity, interferes with development of thrombosis of venules in a prostate.

Indications to use:

Chronic abacterial prostatitis, states before prostate gland operations, a benign hyperplasia of a prostate.

Route of administration and doses:

Rektalno. On one suppository of 50 mg of 1 times a day (in the morning or in the evening). Suppository is entered deeply into an anus after defecation or a cleansing enema. Before use suppository should be moistened with water. After introduction stay of the patient in a bed within 30-40 minutes is desirable.

Course of treatment - not less than 10 days at chronic prostatitis, not less than 15 days - at a benign hyperplasia of a prostate.

Features of use:

Does not influence ability to be engaged in potentially dangerous types of activity requiring special attention and bystry reactions, for example, control of vehicles.

Side effects:

Allergic reactions (urticaria) are possible. In this case use of drug is stopped and appoint antihistamines.

Interaction with other medicines:

Let's combine with the antibacterial drugs used for treatment of prostatitis.

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to drug components, children's age up to 18 years.

Overdose:

Drug is not toxic, cases of overdose were not observed.

Storage conditions:

At a temperature from 2 °C to 15 °C. To store in the place, unavailable to children. A period of validity - 3 years. Not to use after the period of validity specified on packaging.
