General characteristics. Structure:

Active ingredient: простатилен (the complex of the water-soluble peptides extracted from tissue of a prostate of the bull-calves who reached puberty and glycine in the ratio 1:2)1 suppository contains a prostatilen of 0,03 g;
excipients: dimethyl sulfoxide, poly(ethylene oxide) 1500.

Pharmacological properties:

Prostatilen has organotropic effect on a prostate
(prostatoprotektorny effect). Drug reduces hypostasis and leukocytic infiltration of a prostate, improves processes of microcirculation and a platelet and vascular hemostasis, positively influences functional activity of spermatozoa.
Prostatilen stimulates activity of a humoral link of immunity and some factors of resistance of an organism. Drug korregirut an antiteloproduktion and stimulates antimicrobic activity of neutrophils, has antiinflammatory action.
Prostatilen influences also a tone of muscles of a bladder, including a detruzor tone.

Indications to use:

Prevention and treatment of chronic prostatitis, benign hyperplasia of a prostate, thrombophlebitis, complications after prostate gland operations, age disturbances of its function. Drug is used at sexual frustration, male infertility, frustration of the act of an urination, hemorrhoids.

Route of administration and doses:

Suppository is entered deeply into an anus. Apply on 1 suppository 1-2 times a day (in the morning and in the evening) within 5-10 days. Duration of a course is defined by the character and disease severity reached by therapeutic effect, the nature of therapy (monotherapy or complex treatment).
