General characteristics. Structure:

Active ingredient: iodine of 0,05 g, potassium of iodide of 0,02 g; excipients: the alcohol rectified the water purified.

Pharmacological properties:

Has the antiseptic, irritating, distracting effect.

Indications to use:

Locally - for processing of a surgery field and hands of the surgeon, wounds, fungus diseases of skin. As a revulsive it is applied at a miositis, neuralgia.

Route of administration and doses:

Outwardly: grease affected areas of skin, a throat.

Features of use:

At combined use with yellow mercury ointment education in the lacrimal liquid of the mercuric iodide possessing the cauterizing action is possible.

Side effects:

At hypersensitivity to iodine the iodism phenomena (cold, skin rashes, a Quincke's edema, dacryagogue, hypersalivation) are possible

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to iodine.
