Caloric content of shrimps

Shrimps – a product very useful, tasty and extremely popular recently. Thanks to low contents in shrimps of calories and to a large number in them various microelements, minerals and vitamins, shrimps dishes are used in the menu of many diets and in a balanced diet.

Gland in shrimps contains from one hundred times more, than in beef. Meat of shrimps contains in various quantities also sulfur, selenium, molybdenum, magnesium, zinc, manganese, fluorine, chrome.

How many calories in shrimps, depend on a look (shrimps of the North Sea and Far East are more caloric small by the size) and a way of their culinary processing. Caloric content of shrimps boiled practically does not differ from the caloric content of shrimps crude. Contents in 100 g of a shrimp of calories:

By the number of calories of a shrimp are comparable to low-fat grades of fish (a pike, a crucian, a flounder, a hake, a tilapia, etc.), potatoes, green peas, bananas. But at the same time the maintenance of useful elements in them is many times higher.

This unique seafood has a number of contraindications for the use about which it is necessary to know. It is impossible to eat shrimps at diseases of a thyroid gland, problems with a liver, allergic rhinitises, bronchial asthma, conjunctivitis.
