Strattera - drug for improvement of a metabolism in a brain.
Pharmacological action of Stratter
Strattera suppresses activity of carriers of noradrenaline. Active agent of drug – атомоксетин which is not a psychostimulant and to amphetamine derivatives.
Experience of use of Stratter proves that disease symptoms during treatment amplify, the withdrawal does not arise.

Indications to Stratter's use
According to Stratter's instruction appoint at the syndrome of deficit of attention which is followed by a hyperactivity.
Route of administration
Stratter's capsules accept inside, their reception does not depend on time of meal, at desire drug can be accepted during food. It is impossible to open capsules if their contents get into eyes or on skin, they should be washed up carefully.
Accept capsules once a day. If there are undesirable side effects, it is possible to divide a daily dosage into two receptions.
To children, teenagers whose weight does not exceed 70 kg appoint Stratter in a dosage of 500 mkg/kg. Gradually, in the course of treatment, not earlier, than in three days, a dosage raise to 1,2 mg/kg.
The maximum daily dosage of Stratter – 1,8 mg/kg.
To children, teenagers whose weight exceeds 70 kg, adult patients appoint 40 mg, and gradually bring a dose to 80 mg, but not earlier, than in three days after an initiation of treatment.
The dose decline for 50% is required to patients with moderate deviations of function of a liver. If heavy pathology of a liver is diagnosed, the initial dose needs to be reduced by 75%.
Patients with pathologies of kidneys, judging by responses about Stratter, do not need to adjust a dose.
Side effects of Stratter
Experience of use of Stratter indicates that at children and teenagers against the background of treatment the abdominal pain, loss of weight, deterioration in appetite, nausea, vomiting, orthostatic hypotension, flu, irritability, frequent change of mood, dizziness, a mydriasis, heartbeat, dermatitis, rash, an itch on skin, increased fatigue can be observed.
Can cause deterioration in appetite, sleeplessness, tachycardia, a sleep disorder, dizziness, "inflows", a cryesthesia in hands and legs in adult patients of Stratter, a lock, a meteorism, an abdominal pain, difficulties with an urination, weakness, a fever, drowsiness, disturbance of an ejaculation or its absence, prostatitis.
There are responses about Stratter confirming that drug can cause disturbances of an erection and a menstrual cycle.
Contraindications
Strattera according to the instruction is contraindicated at closed-angle glaucoma, hypersensitivity, during a lactation, to children up to 6 years.
The drug combination to MAO inhibitors is contraindicated.
