Akromion:

  1. In anatomy: (acromion, definition in system of anatomic terms: PNA (Anatomic nomenclature Parisian), BNA (Anatomic nomenclature Basel), JNA (Anatomic nomenclature Yenskaya); akromion; Greek akros – the most remote, extreme, high + omos – a shoulder) – lateral (side, belonging to lateral face of body or a body) the end of an awn of a shovel;
  2. In anthropology: (synonym: a humeral point) – the anthropometrical point defining the middle of the outer edge of an acromial shoot of a shovel.
