Apiectomy

Apiectomy (apicotomia; lat. apicis, apex – a top, top + Greek tome – a section, a section; synonym: an apikektomiya) – surgery on removal of a top of a fang. The apiectomy is applied during treatment of chronic apical periodontitis.
