Argayll Robertson syndrome

Argayll Robertson syndrome (Scottish ophthalmologist of Douglas Moray Cooper Lamb Argyll Robertson, 1837-1909; synonyms: the immovability of pupils reflex, Ardzhil Robertson a syndrome нрк) – lack of consensual and forward reaction of pupils on light at preservation of reactions to accommodation and convergence, is combined with irregularity and narrowing of pupils. Disturbance is characteristic of a general paralysis, syphilitic damage of a brain and a nervous system (back tabes). Usually the syndrome bilateral, but occasionally can develop on one eye.
