Audiometriya

(Latin audio – to hear Audiometriya, the Greek metreo relating to ability to hear, hearing + – to define, measure):

  1. (Synonym: an akumetriya) – auditory acuity measurement;
  2. (Synonym: an audiometriya threshold) – measurement of thresholds of perception of sounds by means of the audiometer.

Allocate:

  • Audiometriya game – the measurement method applied at children; it is based on use of toys, game situations, pictures, etc.;
  • Audiometriya superthreshold – a measurement method with use of sounds which force is higher than the hearing threshold inspected;
  • Audiometriya objective (synonym: an audiometriya reflex) – registration of perception of a sound is made on objective indicators (skin and galvanic and approximate reactions, kokhleopupillyarny and kokhleopalpebralny reflexes, etc.);
  • Audiometriya speech – for measurement is used the tape recorder or the audiometer reproducing the speech with the set intensity of a sound;
  • Audiometriya tone – for measurement is used the audiometer generating true tones of various force and height;
  • Audiometriya noise (synonym: Langenbek an audiometriya method) – measurement is taken in the conditions of the dosed masking broadband noise ("white noise").
