Balinta theory

Balinta the theory (R. Balint, 1874-1929, the Hungarian psychoneurologist) – the theory of emergence of a peptic ulcer according to which the round ulcer of a stomach is result of development of acidosis that leads to disturbance of cellular food of a mucous membrane of a stomach and lowers its resilience to the digesting effect of pepsin of a gastric juice.
