Femoral triangle [trigonum femorale – PNA (The anatomic nomenclature Parisian), JNA (The anatomic nomenclature Yenskaya); trigonum femorale (fossa Scarpae major) – BNA (The anatomic nomenclature Basel); Xing: a skarpovsky triangle] – the area of a front surface of a hip of triangular shape compressed from above an inguinal sheaf, from within – external border of a long adductor, outside – internal border of a sartorial muscle.
