The benzidine test (synonym: Gregersena reaction) – a method of identification of blood in Calais, urine, emetic masses, a gastric juice and other environments, and also on various objects, based on benzidine oxidation by hydrogen peroxide at peroksidazny action of pigments of blood with emergence of blue or green coloring.
