Biogeochemistry

Biogeochemistry (Greek bios – life, belonging to life, to vital processes + Greek ge – the earth + Greek chymeia, from chymos – juice) – the natural sciences industry studying a role of live organisms in the geochemical processes proceeding in the biosphere and value of the geochemical environment in development of life; results of these researches are applied to the solution of some practical problems of health care and medicine, for example, in the field of regional pathology.
