Biuret reaction

Biuret reaction – the way intended for quantitative and high-quality definition of proteins, and also products of their partial hydrolysis in urine, blood and other liquids, consisting in identification and colorimetry of the red or violet coloring arising in the course of addition of copper sulfate to the studied liquid.
