Plaque-forming unit (FIGHT)

Plaque-forming unit (FIGHT) – the minimum quantity of a bacteriophage or a virus which is capable to lead to formation of one negative colony (plaque) respectively on agar culture of bacteria or on single-layer culture of cells of vertebrata.
