Side cord [funiculus lateralis – PNA (The anatomic nomenclature Parisian), JNA (The anatomic nomenclature Yenskaya); funiculus lateralis (medullae spinalis) – BNA (The anatomic nomenclature Basel); synonym: a lateral cord, a cord of a spinal cord side] – set longwise the placed bunches of the nerve fibrils of a spinal cord which are between a back lateral groove and the line of an exit of ventral roots; in the left and right side cord conduction paths of a spinal cord are located.
