Boss operation (historical; L. Bossi m, the Italian gynecologist, 1859-1919) – obstetric operation at which carry out the forced single-step expansion of the channel of a neck of uterus in labor by means of introduction to the cervical channel of the special tool equipped with four branches which are in a close state which then are slowly moved apart.
