Braxton Giks operation (J. Braxton Hicks, English gynecologist, 1825-1897; synonyms: Braxton Giks version, untimely internal obstetric version) – the obstetric operation of outside and internal combined version of a fruit on a leg which is carried out in case of incomplete disclosure of a uterine pharynx and an impractical or dead fruit.
