Galli-Maynini reaction

Galli-Maynini reaction (the modern Argentina doctor S. of Galli-Mainini) – the method applied to detection in urine of a chorial gonadotrophin; it is based on its ability to cause emergence in a foul place of a male of a frog of spermatozoa after introduction to its lymphatic bag (area of a back) of the studied urine. Galli-Maynini reaction is applied at diagnosis of early durations of gestation.
