Galtona law

Galtona law (English anthropologist and psychologist of F. Galton, 1822-1911; synonyms: the law of return to race, the law of regression) – the rule according to which average values of any quantitative character for descendants of a certain group of parents it is located between average values of this sign for this group of parents and population in general.
