Homotropic means (gamotropa; Greek gamos – marriage + Greek on, ontos – a being, real + Greek tropos – the direction, turn) – antimalarial medicines which lead to damage or cause death of gamonts (sexual forms of causative agents of malaria), for example, Primachinum, Chinocidum, Chloridinum, Bigumalum.
