Garmsena thoracoplasty

Garmsena thoracoplasty (B. M. Garmsen, Soviet surgeon; thoracoplastica, Greek thorax (thorakos) – a breast + Greek plastike – sculpture, a molding) – the thoracoplasty which is carried out by means of a subperiostal resection of the II-VIII edges, and further allocation of a top of a lung from unions and its fixing by a periosteal and muscular rag.
