Gastroplication

Gastroplication (historical; gastroplicatio, Greek gaster, gastros – a stomach + lat. plico, plicatum – to curtail, put) – surgery at which sewing up of a wall of a stomach for reduction of its volume is carried out; it is carried out at an atony and a gastrectasia.
