Ventroptosis

Ventroptosis (Greek gaster, gastros – a stomach + Greek ptosis – omission, falling) – a gastroptosis; results, for example, from sharp weakening of a muscular layer of an abdominal wall, after removal of ascitic liquid, at considerable weight loss.
