Gemitireoidektomiya

Gemitireoidektomiya (hemithyreoidectomia; Greek hemi-– a floor - unilateral, half + Greek thyreos – a board + eides – similar + ektome – removal, excision; synonym: a hemistrumectomy) – surgery on removal of one share of a thyroid gland; it is carried out, as a rule, at a sporadic craw.
