Hemodynamics

Hemodynamics (Greek haima – blood + Greek dynamikos – belonging to force, strong):

  1. department of physiology of blood circulation which is engaged in studying of conditions, reasons and mechanisms of the movement of blood in cardiovascular system on the basis of use of physical laws of hydrodynamics;
  2. set in cardiovascular system of processes of the movement of blood – not recommended use of the term.
