Hemorrhoids

Hemorrhoids (haemorrhoides; Greek haimorrhois – bleeding, hemorrhoids; synonym: varices haemorrhoidales) – the disease caused by vasodilatation of a hemorrhoidal texture (a pryamokishechny veniplex); it is expressed by pains in a rectum, rectal bleedings, etc.

Types of hemorrhoids:

  • internal (intemae) – at which is noted existence of internal hemorrhoidal nodes;
  • outside (externae) – at which is noted existence of outside hemorrhoidal nodes;
  • mixed (a synonym: the hemorrhoids combined) – differing in existence of both internal, and outside hemorrhoidal nodes.
