Valinsky of a bathtub (Walinski, Polish balneologist; the German Wanne from armor. vannus – a bowl, a basin) – the hydropathic procedure consisting in immersion of the patient in a bathtub with fresh water which temperature is increased gradually by from 37-38 to 40-42 °C, with his wrapping further a woolen blanket.
