Vashkevich urethra tamponade (E. F. Vashkevich, Soviet urologist; the French tamponnade, from tampon – a stopper) – a way of therapy of a chronic urethritis at men at which the cotton plug impregnated 2% with protargol solution with glycerin carry out a tamponade of a front urethra (to an outside sphincter); it is carried out by means of the smooth round probe and an ureteroscopic tube.
