Vegetative pole

Vegetative pole (polus vegetalis – LNE (The Leningrad embryological nomenclature); lat. vegeto – to raise, grow) – the site of an ovum opposite to the place of department of reducing little bodies from which bodies of "vegetable" life of a germ, for example, digestive form; on a vegetative pole of the ova rich in a yolk, its largest volume is concentrated.
