Verner syndrome

Verner syndrome (O. of Werner, German doctor, 1874-1946; synonym: a progeria of adults) – a hereditary disease which is characterized by a senilism of an organism and is shown by an atrophy of skeletal muscles, appendages of skin and epidermis, development of a hypogenitalism, a cataract, insulyarny insufficiency, etc.; it is inherited on autosomal recessively type; comes to light most often at men at the age of 20-30 years.
