Westergren method

Westergren a method (A. Westergren, the Swedish doctor, 1891-1968) – a way of establishment of a blood sedimentation rate by means of determination of height of a column of the plasma created 1 hour later after hashing of 0,4 ml of 3,8% of solution of sodium salt of citric acid with the venous blood gathered from an elbow vein in number of 1,6 ml, and filling of the graduated pipette having diameter of 3 mm and height of 30 cm by it.
