Intracranial pressure

Intracranial pressure (tensio intracranialis) – pressure in cerebral cavities and a head cavity which level depends on tension of marrow, osmotic and hydrostatic pressure of an intercellular lymph, blood and cerebrospinal liquid; in clinic, as a rule, intracranial pressure is characterized by indicators of hydrostatic pressure of cerebrospinal (spinal) liquid.
