Meanie metaplasia

Meanie metaplasia (R. R. Vreden, Soviet surgeon, 1867-1934; metaplasia, Greek metaplassiu – to turn, transform) – surgery at which carry out an epicondylic osteotomy of a hip with extension of a shin and introduction to a groove on a front surface of an epiphysis of a femur of its distal end; it is carried out for liquidation of the vicious provision of the lower extremity at an anchylosis of a knee joint or a flexion contracture.
