Venereal ulcer (Latin Ulcus Molle) — an infectious disease, sexually transmitted.
Symptoms of the Venereal ulcer:
Incubation interval — 2-7 days. On site implementations of a bacillus there is a red spot in which center there is a bubble which is quickly turning into a pustule then — in a painful, purulent sore. In 2 weeks growth of an ulcer stops, pus gradually disappears, the ulcer cicatrizes. At men of an ulcer are most often localized on an internal leaf of a preputial bag, at women — on small and big vulvar lips.
Reasons of the Venereal ulcer:
Disease-producing factor is Haemophilus ducreyi bacterium. The disease is widespread mainly in Africa, Central and South America. In Russia meets extremely seldom.
Treatment of the Venereal ulcer:
The good effect is reached by treatment of a venereal ulcer antibiotics and streptocides. Besides, local trays with weak solution of potassium permanganate, a bed rest and permanent hygienic care.
