Troksegel

General characteristics. Structure:

Active ingredient: троксерутин;
1 g of gel contains a trokserutin of 20 mg; excipients: carbomer 934P, трометамин, Trilonum of B, a benzalkoniya chloride, the water purified.

Pharmacological properties:

Means for treatment of chronic venous insufficiency. The routine is derivative, has R-vitamin activity. Reduces permeability and fragility of capillaries, renders antiedematous and
antiinflammatory actions. At external use gel is well soaked up from the surface of skin, provides sufficient concentration of active ingredient in adjacent fabrics, has at the same time no systemic action.

Indications to use:

Troksegel-KMP appoint for treatment of patients with the phenomena of an edematous pain syndrome and mikrotsirkulyatorno-trophic disturbances at: chronic venous insufficiency (a shin ulcer, trophic damages of skin), a varicosity (including at pregnancy), thrombophlebitis, a periphlebitis, a posttrombotichesky syndrome, posttraumatic hypostasis and a hematoma, and hemorrhagic diathesis with a hyperpermeability of capillaries, a diabetic mikroangiopatiya, side vascular effects of radiation therapy, as prophylactic after vein operations.

Route of administration and doses:

Troksegel-KMP is applied outwardly. Gel is applied by 2-3 times a day with a uniform thin layer on an affected area from peripheral to the central part, carefully rubbing before full absorption in skin. A course of treatment from 2 weeks to 2 months. During pregnancy and feeding by a breast Troksegel-KMP can be applied in coordination with the doctor. Troksegel-KMP can be applied at children. The route of administration and doses correspond the above in a leaf insert.

Features of use:

At a disease recurrence it is possible to repeat a course of treatment 2-3 times a year. There are no features of use of drug for treatment of children. Gel can be applied to imposing of compresses.

Side effects:

At hypersensitivity at some patients allergic reactions (rash, an itch of integuments, erubescence), dermatitis are possible.

Interaction with other medicines:

If you accept any other medicines, surely report about it to the doctor. Strengthens effect of ascorbic acid on structure and permeability of a vascular wall.

Contraindications:

The increased individual sensitivity to drug. Cautions at use. It is not necessary to apply gel on open wounds. The patient with the expressed renal failures does not recommend to apply gel a long time. Use of gel both on initial, and at late stages of a disease is recommended to patients with chronic venous insufficiency (as a result of treatment the feeling of weight in legs disappears, puffiness of the lower extremities decreases, the trophicity improves).

Overdose:

There are no data on overdose now.

Storage conditions:

Period of validity. 2 years. It is forbidden to use medicine after the termination specified on
to packaging of date of a period of validity. Visual signs of unfitness of drug: discoloration, transparency and a consistence of gel (the homogeneous, transparent, jellylike mass of yellow color is normal). To store in the unavailable to children, dry, protected from light place at a temperature from 10 °C to 20 °C.
