General characteristics. Structure:

Active agent: 1 g of gel contains 20 mg of a trokserutin

Excipients: carbomer of 6 mg, троламин (trietanolamine) of 7 mg, dinatrium эдетат 0,5 mg, a benzalkoniya chloride of 1 mg, the water purified 965,5 mg.

Description: Gel from yellow till light brown color.

Pharmacological properties:

Pharmacodynamics. Троксевазин® represents a flavonoid (derivative a routine). Has R-vitamin activity; renders venotoniziruyushchy, venoprotektorny, antiedematous, antiinflammatory, anticoagulative and antioxidant action. Reduces permeability and fragility of capillaries, raises their tone. Increases density of a vascular wall, reduces exudation of a liquid part of plasma and emigration of blood cells.

Reduces an inflammation in a vascular wall, limiting sticking of thrombocytes to its surface.

Pharmacokinetics. When putting gel on area of defeat, active agent quickly gets through epidermis, in 30 min. it is found in a derma, and in 2-5 h in a hypodermic fatty tissue.

Indications to use:

• Varicosis;
• Chronic venous insufficiency with such symptoms as: puffiness and onychalgias; feeling of weight, nalitost, fatigue of legs; vascular asterisks and reticulums, spasms, paresthesias;
• Thrombophlebitis;
• Periphlebitis;
• Varicose dermatitis;
• Pains and hypostases of traumatic character (at bruises, stretchings, injuries).

Gel 2 times a day inflict on area defeats in the morning and in the evening, softly rubbing before full absorption. If necessary gel can be applied under bandage or elastic stockings.

Success of treatment by drug to a large extent depends on its regular use for a long time.

It is recommended to combine with reception of the Troksevazin® capsules for influence strengthening.

If symptoms of a course of a disease worsen or do not pass in 6-7 days of daily use of drug, it is necessary to see a doctor who will appoint further treatment and will determine therapy course duration.

Now data on medicinal interaction of the drug Troksevazin® are absent.

Side effects:

Allergic skin reactions - urticaria, eczema, dermatitis are in rare instances observed.

Interaction with other medicines:

Gel is applied only on the unimpaired surface.

To avoid hit on open wounds, eyes and mucous membranes!

At the states which are characterized by a hyperpermeability of vessels (including at scarlet fever, flu, measles, allergic reactions), gel is used in combination with ascorbic acid for strengthening of its effect.

Driving of the car and work with mechanisms

Троксевазин® gel does not exert impact on ability to manage the vehicle and to work with moving mechanisms.

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to drug. Disturbance of integrity of integuments.

Pregnancy and period of a lactation: There are no data on undesirable impact on a fruit and the newborn when using drug.

Overdose:

In view of an outside route of administration and big therapeutic width of drug of danger of emergence of overdose is not present. At an accidental proglatyvaniye of a large amount of gel it is necessary to carry out general measures of removal of drug from an organism (vomitives) and to see a doctor. In the presence of indications peritoneal dialysis is carried out.

Storage conditions:

In the dry, protected from light place, at a temperature not above 25 °C. Not to freeze! To store in the place, unavailable to children! A period of validity For an aluminum tuba - 5 years. For a laminatny (plastic) tuba - 2 years. Not to use after a period of validity.

Gel for external use of 2%.

On 40 g in an aluminum tuba with an internal varnish covering, with an aluminum membrane or in a laminatny (plastic) tuba with an aluminum membrane. Each tuba together with the application instruction is placed in a cardboard pack.
