Trokserutin of 2%

General characteristics. Structure:

Active ingredient: 2 g of a trokserutin.

Excipients: carbomer 940, dinatrium эдетат, a benzalkoniya chloride, hydroxide sodium solution of 30%, the water purified.

Gel renders venotoniziruyushchy, angioprotektorny, antiedematous, antioxidant and antiinflammatory action.

Pharmacological properties:

Pharmacodynamics. The flavonoid (derivative a routine), has P-vitamin activity; renders venotoniziruyushchy, angioprotektorny, antiedematous, antioxidant and antiinflammatory action. Participates in oxidation-reduction processes, blocks hyaluronidase, stabilizes hyaluronic acid of cellular covers and reduces permeability and fragility of capillaries, raises their tone. Increases density of a vascular wall, reduces exudation of a liquid part of plasma and emigration of blood cells.

Reduces an inflammation in a vascular wall, limiting sticking to its surface of thrombocytes. Use both in initial, and in late stages of a disease is recommended to patients with chronic venous insufficiency. At the states which are characterized by a hyperpermeability of vessels (including at scarlet fever, flu, measles, allergic reactions), use in combination with ascorbic acid for strengthening of its effect. It is non-toxical, has the big width of therapeutic action.

Pharmacokinetics. It is well soaked up from the surface of skin at outside use (gel).

Indications to use:

Varicosity, chronic venous insufficiency with such manifestations as static weight in legs, shin ulcers, trophic damages of skin, superficial thrombophlebitis, a periphlebitis, a phlebothrombosis, ulcers of shins, dermatitis, hemorrhoids, a posttrombotichesky syndrome, a diabetic mikroangiopatiya, a retinopathy, hemorrhagic diathesis (a hyperpermeability of capillaries), including at measles, scarlet fever, flu, side vascular effects of radiation therapy, posttraumatic hypostasis, a hematoma, prevention of complications after vein operations.

Route of administration and doses:

Outwardly: gel is applied with evenly thin layer in the morning and in the evening on skin of the painful site from distal to a proximal part and slightly massed before full absorption. Gel can be imposed under an occlusive bandage.

Features of use:

Negative influence of drug on performance of potentially dangerous types of activity requiring special attention and bystry reactions (driving, etc. vehicles, work with driving mechanisms, work of the dispatcher and operator, etc.) was not observed.

Use at pregnancy and during breastfeeding - data are absent.

Side effects:

Allergic reactions (skin rash) are in some cases possible.

Interaction with other medicines:

Strengthens effect of ascorbic acid on structure and permeability of a vascular wall.

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity.

With care - a renal failure (long use).

Storage conditions:

In dry, protected from light and the place, unavailable to children, at a temperature not above 25 °C. Period of validity of 5 years. Not to use after the expiry date specified on packaging.
