Pharmacological properties:

Means for a regidratation. Provides compensation in extracellular liquid of three major cations - Na+, K+, Ca2+. The lactate is metabolized in an organism in bicarbonate therefore solution possesses the alkalinizing action.

Later in/in introductions solution passes into fabrics within no more than 30 min. therefore it cannot be applied instead of the shown hemotransfusion or plasma.

Indications to use:

Hypovolemia and the expressed dehydration at normal KShchR or weak acidosis, including for the purpose of compensation of deficit of water and electrolytes owing to heavy vomiting and diarrhea, a big burn surface, at peritonitis, a heavy infection; for maintenance of volume of extracellular liquid in time and after surgical intervention that gives the chance temporarily to delay a hemotransfusion; for initial treatment at considerable blood loss, shock, injuries.

Route of administration and doses:

Enter in/in in a dose up to 2500 ml/days, average rate of administering - 2.5 ml/kg or 60 thaws/min., at medical emergencies - up to 100 thaws/min. The amount of the applied solution depends on a clinical condition of the patient.

Features of use:

It is applied only to temporary maintenance of volume of plasma in physiological limits, in medical emergencies. It is not necessary to apply at heavy deficit of Na+, K+, Ca2+.

With extra care apply at chronic heart failure, renal failures, diseases of a liver and a hypoproteinemia, and also against the background of treatment by corticosteroids and corticotropin.

At use in large volume it is necessary to control KShchR.

In case of solution overdose in most cases it is enough to stop introduction. At a renal failure it is possible to use a hemodialysis at continuous control of KShchR.

Side effects:

At use in inadequately high dose disturbance of balance of water and electrolytes, including a hypervolemia, a hypernatremia, a hyperpotassemia, a hypercalcemia, a hyperchloremia is possible.

Interaction with other medicines:

Increase in a delay of sodium in an organism at a concomitant use of the following medicines is possible: non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, androgens, anabolic hormones, estrogen, corticotropin, mineralokortikoid, vazodilatator, ganglioblokator.
At reception with kaliysberegayushchy diuretics, inhibitors of an angiotensin-converting enzyme and drugs of potassium the risk of development of a hyperpotassemia amplifies.
In a combination with cardiac glycosides the probability of their toxic effects increases.
Alkalinizes urine and slows down removal of the drugs having alkali reaction. Accelerates allocation of Li + and salicylates.

Contraindications:

Heavy abnormal liver functions, acute renal failure, fluid lungs, alkalosis, лактацидоз, hypertensive dehydration.

Use at pregnancy and feeding by a breast
At pregnancy apply in cases when the expected advantage for mother exceeds possible risk for a fruit.

Use at abnormal liver functions
It is contraindicated at heavy abnormal liver functions.
With extra care apply at liver diseases.

Use at renal failures
It is contraindicated at an acute renal failure.
With extra care apply at renal failures. At a renal failure it is possible to use a hemodialysis at continuous control of KShchR.
