General characteristics. Structure:

Active ingredient: 3,53 g of a plantain oval cover seeds.

Excipients: sucrose, sodium алгинат, sodium citrate, maltodextrin, citric acid monohydrate, aspartame, fragrance orange (natural) [multi-component mixture of aromatic substances, maltodextrin, arabic gum, alphatocopherol].

Pharmacological properties:

Pharmacodynamics. The hydrophilic fibers which are contained in a cover of seeds of a plantain oval increase in volume due to absorption of water and cause reflex strengthening of motility, recovering normal activity of a large intestine. The Gelyobrazuyushchy fraction promotes a softening of a chair and works in the form of "lubricant", facilitating bowel emptying at locks and painful defecation at patients with perianal defeats.

Indications to use:

Acute and chronic lock, proctal cracks, hemorrhoids, the postoperative period at interventions in anorectal area (for creation of softer consistence of a chair).

Route of administration and doses:

Inside. On 1 bag 1-3 times a day in 30 minutes prior to food or 2 hours later after food.

Before the use to fill in contents of 1 bag with a glass of cold water, to stir and at once to drink, then to wash down with one more glass of liquid.

Course of treatment: at acute locks — before disappearance of a lock (1-2 days); at chronic locks — up to 4 weeks, after a week break repetition of a course is possible; at proctal cracks and hemorrhoids — before achievement of lack of discomfort at defecation (up to 4 weeks, after a week break repetition of a course is possible); during the postoperative period at interventions in anorectal area — according to the recommendation of the doctor (up to 4 weeks).

Features of use:

Use at pregnancy and during breastfeeding. Use of drug during pregnancy and breastfeeding is possible on doctor's orders.

At administration of drug it is necessary to drink not less than 1,5 l of liquid a day.

The wrong procedure of reception (with insufficient amount of liquid) can lead to irritation of a gullet or intestines, especially at elderly people.

At patients with an insulin-dependent diabetes mellitus reduction of a dose of insulin can be required.

Influence on ability to manage vehicles, mechanisms. Drug does not influence ability to manage vehicles and mechanisms.

Side effects:

Allergic reactions are possible. In the first days of treatment emergence of feeling of overflow in a stomach is possible.

Interaction with other medicines:

It is not necessary to appoint along with antidiarrheal drugs, and also with the drugs oppressing motility of intestines.

Фибралакс can slow down absorption of at the same time applied medicines. It is necessary to observe an interval 30-60 min. between Fibralaks's reception and other drugs.

Contraindications:

Hypersensitivity to components drug, organic narrowings of digestive tract, intestinal impassability, abdominal pains of not clear genesis, deficit of invertase-isomaltase, intolerance of fructose, glyukozo-galaktozny malabsorption, a dekompensirovanny diabetes mellitus, children's age up to 18 years. Drug should not be used to patients with a fenilketonuriya.

Overdose:

Cases of overdose are not revealed.

Storage conditions:

To store at a temperature not above 25 °C. To store in the place, unavailable to children. A period of validity - 3 years. Not to apply after a period of validity.

Powder for preparation of suspension for intake. On 5 g in a bag from the film combined on the basis of polymeric films and aluminum foil (PET/F/PE). On 15, 20 or 30 bags together with the application instruction in a pack from a cardboard.
